Georgina Carson

Georgie is a senior lawyer at Eliza Legal. She has practised exclusively in family law since 2018 and has experience across the spectrum of family law matters including property settlements, parenting arrangements, spousal maintenance, child support, divorce and family violence.

Georgie combines technical expertise with a practical and empathetic approach. She works with clients so that they understand relevant legal processes and the options available to them. She is solution oriented and focuses on achieving outcomes that meet clients' needs and objectives.

Georgie is dedicated to helping clients achieve the best outcome for their matter. She works to resolve matters amicably where possible through alternative dispute resolution saving clients the time, expense and stress involved in litigation. However, while she aims to resolve matters outside of court, she is also skilled in litigation and will vigorously advocate for clients when court proceedings are necessary.

Georgie appreciates that family law matters are often complex and emotionally difficult for clients. She provides advice that is empathetic, clear, pragmatic and considered.  

When not at work, Georgie is spending time with her family and friends and is often walking coastal trails and beaches on the Mornington Peninsula.
